Dipping my toe back into the Associate Sound Designer game briefly I spent some time at the St. James with Garth McAleavey working on the Broadway production of Illinoise!

I’ve loved this album and its partner album, The Avalanche (from which some content was pulled) since the day they were each released.

Getting to work on this show was a dream - hearing Garth’s work elevating the beautiful expansion of the original orchestrations into a larger ensemble, watching Justin Peck’s amazing choreography and Brandon Stirling Baker’s gorgeous lighting design…I’m so glad that I was able to be in the room even if it was just for a limited time.
