Alex Neumann

Alex Neumann is a Tony nominated and Drama Desk Award winning sound designer based in New York City. Alex’s experience on Broadway and background as a classical violist inform his approach to creativity and problem-solving in theatre and the sound arts.

His work extends from large-scale musicals and live events of the highest caliber, to sound system programming and implementation.

Alex's training as a musician brings a communication style to his work with composers, arrangers, and music directors that lends itself to a seamless vision for the aural identity of a project. As comfortable with classical naturalism as with bombastic new shows, he is able to support the work in any way that meets the needs of the production.
